Welcome to the debut album of Music You Might Otherwise Miss™. It represents the commercial birth of a lifelong passion for finding new or undiscovered music and my irresistible urge to share it.

I’ve been creating compilations for my friends—and my friends’ friends—for most of my life. It’s what I’m known for. They count on me to find them new music that’s off the beaten track, and I couldn’t be happier to do it for them, for my radio show listeners—and now for you.

The tunes on this CD are some of my recent ‘finds,’ and when I listen to them together I think “perfect driving music.” So get ready. Fasten your seatbelt. Turn off your cell phone. Put down the convertible top and turn up the volume. Or relax on the couch and pretend. You’re going to relish the ride and love the emotive lift.

And when you play it for your friends, be prepared for them to ask Who is this and where did you find it? They’ll be impressed and start looking to you to lead them to music they might otherwise miss. And you’ll look to me to get it to you, and I’ll be there—like an old friend with all the compilations you need to stay in the know and in the music.
